Hey Mom,
What’s up? Sounds like you're still getting snow. And Jake and James are staying on top of the wood hauling and snow removal, that’s cool. It was good to hear about all the kids staying with you. I miss hanging out with all of you!
I had a good week. We got to hear from Clate W. Mask last week from the 2nd Quorum of the 70. He gave an awesome talk. I was on the edge of my chair pretty much the whole time. His grandpa served a mission in Mexico around 1910 and had some awesome experiences that he talked about. One experience he had was kind of like the story of Abinadi mixed with the King Lamoni story. I guess his grandpa and his companion ran into some Mexican soldiers and the soldiers thought they were rebel spies. The soldiers lined the missionaries up to be shot by a firing squad and as they caulked their rifles the missionaries said," stop! you can’t shoot us! We haven't delivered our message yet"... I can’t remember the rest but anyway the soldiers ended up taking the missionaries to the President of Mexico and they were able to teach the president a lesson. Afterward, they gave the President and the Vice President a Book of Mormon. The missionaries were given written permission to preach the gospel where ever they wanted in Mexico. Unfortunately the Mexican President was assassinated a while later.
So, every Saturday we go to this place called the TRC and meet with a pretend investigator. The task changes each week, but for the last one, we talked to the investigator for about 15 minutes in Korean, then we taught them a 35 min lesson in English on the Plan of Salvation.
It went pretty good. For the Korean part, we acted like we were taking a bus to go to church. To make the bus we just lined up a bunch of chairs in a classroom and sat down for 15 min and got to know them and asked if they had been praying and reading and then testified about prayer and about the Book of Mormon. Then we set an appointment for the lesson after church.
We have one more week of teaching the lesson In English and then it will all be in Korean, so we are practicing hard for that.

We get to go to the temple every p-day- that is always cool. The food there is way good, too.
