A funny thing about the new Coke rule is that this Elder in our zone had just bought a big bottle of Pepsi right before the conference and had it sitting in the fridge, but then he (didn’t want to) drink it. He didn't really want to throw it away because it was brand new so he had just left it there, but then Elder Turley went on exchanges in his area yesterday and dumped it down the drain!
I worked with Elder Peterson in our area yesterday during the exchange. We had a way good day. We were especially focusing on opening up the BoM in teaching situations to explain what it is and to answer other questions with it. We met Kim Suk Min last night. He's getting baptized on Sunday. He was too scared when his mom and bro were baptized before, but he wants to now and doesn't seem too scared about it. Oh and last week was stake conference and we got a new Stake President so the 70 member of the Asia north area, Elder Stephenson came to it. He gave a way good talk about how his son referred his friend and that friend got baptized and is now about to leave on a mission. Ernie was there showing people where to sit with the other priesthood holders in Man Su ward. He's doing way good. Today we’re going to meet up with Elder Houston for a little bit cause he's working with a missionary in our zone for a while. He's an AP this transfer and then he goes home with Elder Turley. I got an e mail from Elder Rigby today. He's doing great and broke up with his girlfriend that he wrote for two years! I'm glad I don't have one!
Thanks for the future suit! Maybe I'll look around a little bit today. That'll be way nice.
Well have a good week. I love you,
Elder Lufkin

Missionwide Conference

Hey! Yeah, I'll be calling again here in a while, huh. It seems like the last one wasn't that long ago! I'm excited though!
Things here are going awesome. We had a mission wide conference last week which was way good. President told us no more coke! Not too big of a deal for most missionaries though. Thanks for asking about my b-day. Something that would be nice is a new suit. You can get a good one here for 70 or 80 bucks! They're a lot cooler looking than American suits too. One of mine is about worn out and the other two are fairly thick and will be pretty warm in the summer.
I'll mail you some pics here this week sometime.
This has been a really good week. I've been busier than any other time of my mission.

We've got a lot of investigators. There are some pretty good ones too. On May 5th a kid named Kim Suk Min will get baptized. His family already was but he was scared to at first. He’s 11. His father hasn't been baptized yet but his mom and brother have. We visit them a lot and talk to them on the phone a lot too.
Thanks for the e mail and have a good week!
Love,
Elder Lufkin

New Responsibilities-New Companion

Hey! Conference was awesome! I can't believe it’s my 3rd Conference in Korea. Ernie watched all of conference in English with us missionaries and a girl he's friends with came to one session. Ee Sung Jeen also came to one session. 3 of our investigators were also able to come to one session on Saturday. They all really liked it. There were a lot of talks that I really liked.

I got transferred this morning. President wants me to be a zone leader in the zone that I've been serving in. I was really surprised when he called me. I've had some really good zone leaders so I feel pretty insufficient, but I've got a really good companion. The area is called Yun Su that we work in and its bordering my old one. My new companion is Elder Turley. He's from Logan, Utah and this is his last transfer. He actually came into Korea at the same time as my trainer Elder Houston. It sounds like the ward and area here are awesome. I'm excited to get fresh start in a new area. Back in my old area we had one investigator named Gwon Young Ay that was doing really well. She came to conference for one session and we talked to her about baptism a lot last night during the Plan of Salvation. She said she'll get baptized if she feels that its right. We gave her some good chapters from the BOM about baptism to read. I think she'll feel it's right when she reads and prays about it.

Everything is turning green and all the flowers on the trees and stuff are blossoming here so it looks pretty cool. The weather is pretty nice too.

Anyways, have fun at the temple and have a good week!! Love, Elder Lufkin

Ernie's Baptism

So Ernie got baptized last Saturday and got the gift of the HG on Sunday and also got the Aaronic Priesthood on Sunday. Ee Sung Jeen blessed the sacrament last Sunday, too! They're both doing really well and those two and two of our investigators will come to conference with us either on Saturday or Sunday. I'm way excited for conference! I wanted to down load it today, so we could listen to it at home, but it’s not on the church website for downloading yet.
I don't have much time today, but things are going well here. We have a new investigator- a woman named Gwon Young Ay that is doing really well and will come to conference with us on Saturday! Today I'm going to the zoo with Elder Rigby because it’s his last week.

Hey, I actually ended up getting more time to e-mail! I guess we're not going to the zoo because it's too far, but that’s alright. Jake told me that I have to sign up for school by October to be able to go right when I get home. I was wondering if you could figure out for me what I need to fill out and get done to be able to go. I want to go to school ASAP when I get home.
Love,
