The Phone Call

From Elder Lufkin's Mom:
We were thrilled to talk with Elder L on Sunday. He sounds great! We put the call on speaker phone so the whole family could visit and ask questions. We learned a lot about Korea and the work he is doing. Elder L said he especially enjoys teaching about the Restoration of the Gospel and said you can tell right away if someone is interested in learning more. We enjoyed hearing more about the baptism the day before and other people they are teaching. He and Elder Houston live in a small apartment in Seoul. He likes the food and has grown to like kimchi! Elder L said the language is coming along and when he is discussing the gospel he can communicate quite well, but when other topics are discussed it is difficult to communicate. Elder L shared his testimony with us and I could feel his wonderful spirit although he is over 5,000 miles away!
